Mifalot Education and Society Enterprises
Mifalot brings together young Israelis and Palestinians to play soccer – on the same team. The educational organization, which focuses on building relationships and community rooted in mutual respect, works with 30,000 children every year.
By playing games, Mifalot children are doing something much greater: they are building a more active, compassionate and cohesive community. The playing field provides a safe space for Jewish and Arab children to form ongoing meaningful friendships, which in turn leads to a more just and engaged society.
When you know someone, it is hard to hate them.
Mifalot is the largest organization in the Middle East that uses sports as a platform for social change. Their educational programs are designed teach social values and life skills.
Mifalot works across many boundaries, including working with at-risk youth and underprivileged populations. Bringing together Palestinian and Israeli children is just one of the many ways that Mifalot is making the world a more peaceful, beautiful place for children and adults alike.
Mifalot was founded in 1997 by the former owners of Hapoel Tel Aviv FC. Mifalot runs activities around the globe with a large direct impact in Israel. So far some 250,000 participants have graduated from their programs.
